MyLaunchPad - Students

Username = last name +first initial of first name + last four digits of student ID@sautech.edu 

Please note: Your MyLaunchPad username differs from your student email. Your student email uses @mymail.sautech.edu whereas your username uses @sautech.edu instead.

Password = Saut + last four digits of your Social Security Number

If you have never logged into MyLaunchPad:

• Your password will be Capital Saut + last four digits of your SSN.
• First time logins will be prompted to do the multi-factor authentication.

Example: John Smith has a student ID of 1234-56789. 

                    His username is smithj6789@sautech.edu.

Example: John Smith last four digits of his SSN is 1906

                    His password is Saut1906

MyLaunchPad - Employees

Username = First initial +Last name @sautech.edu 

Password =  Same password as logging into your computer and/or email. 

Brightspace

To log into Brightspace:

1.) Log into MyLaunchPad

2.) Click the Brightspace link in the Quicklinks menu

3.) You will then be logged into Brightspace

**If you are a new student, you will not be able to access Brightspace until 2 weeks before the semester you are enrolled in begins or 24 hours after creating your schedule

Student Email

• Click on “Student Email” on the left side of the page.

Username: Your email address is: lastname+first initial of firstname+last four digits of student ID@mymail.sautech.edu

Ex.: John Smith has a student ID of 1234-56789. 

His email address is smithj6789@mymail.sautech.edu .

Password: The default password for the first time access is “Password1”.  For some students, the default password may be "password".

New password has to be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least one capital letter and one number.

If you send a request to reset your email password, try to log in again the next day.  

The password will be reset back to the default.

Employee Email

The link to employee web mail is in the "Quick Links" area to the left.  In the username field, enter sautech\username.
