You have a new Office 365 account for email access.  This account is protected with Multifactor Authentication.  This page demonstrates how to Setup MFA:

1. Open any web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox
2. In the address bar navigate to   https://mylaunchpad.sautech.edu/
3. Click on “Employee email” under Quick Links on the left side of the screen
4. You should now see the screen where you can enter your SAU Tech Credentials. A photo is attached below for reference:
5. You then should see a screen to setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Hit next to configure MFA.
6. You will be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator app. Install it from your app store, make sure to allow Notifications when prompted, then Click on Next to continue setup.

   3. Look for this logo and make sure the publisher is “Microsoft Corporation”
      
7. You will need to set up an authenticator app account. You will need to select work or school as the account. Please select Next.
8. Once installed, scan the QR code to associate the app with your account for future authentications. Press the + or QR icon to open the scanning feature.  Once you have scanned the QR code in the app you can hit next to be prompted for an authentication request.
   
   
9. You should now have a screen with two digits on your desktop. Enter these digits into the authenticator app.
10. Once you have entered the digits provided from the desktop on the authenticator app you will see a Notification approved message on your desktop. You can hit next.
    
11. After hitting next you will see a success message and you can now select done. Multi-Factor Authentication will now be configured for your account.
